I've got the original photo and you can see the whole flash hider. That was RT Pick One-Zero Bob Graham's CAR-15. That guy was a lunatic; I have another photo of him with a longbow that he used once while his team was in contact in Cambodia. He actually stood up and shot an NVA with a freaking arrow while his team broke into an IA drill.

Repost.  But none-the-less, that's One-Zero Ken Bowra with either RT Idaho or Sidewinder from CCN - your old AO if I'm not mistaken, Osprey.

Do you have Jason Hardy's book on "SOG Team History and Insignia"? Lt Bowra ran Idaho as 1-0 with Frank Pulley as the 1-1/2. Together they ran the last Idaho team and this is in 1971. You are right though on Bowra being the only American in early 72' on Sidewinder. I know you RT Utah don't I? You use to post back on PS.com didn't you?

A friend of mine was one of the infantryman that he helped save on that mission. Awesome, thanks for the backstory.
