I wound up with a combo of Troy gas block mount HK style front sight with a Magpul rear. They worked out good. I also bought some Magpul 20 round mags and a Blue Force Gear single point sling. I love the national match trigger on this thing but I wanted something better for the AR10t so I had a Geiselle SSA put in it. SASS I was shooting at 100 yards (standard NRA 100 yard target), the light was fading, Troy BUIS, and I had just sprained my ankle stepping into a m$#*&@f#@&%$ rabbit hole (     ) while walking out to change targets, and it was swelling inside my shoe fast. And I have an astigmatism. So, with all of this against me, I'm not unhappy with the grouping.
The rifle could definitely do better earlier in the day in the hands of someone with better eyes and not so clumsy. What I like about the rifle most is the workmanship. It is GOOD. And the reliability. And how handy it is. And the weight. And the design. |

| With so many Armalite models to choose from, I can understand why there are not too many of them just yet. But, with the features it offers and the quality of the workmanship, I believe there will be more. I know that later on this year I want to buy a second one. It is that good. |

Photos of it right after I put it together. It was my first AR build, and I used all ArmaLite parts, except for the obvious Knight's Armament rail system.

I've lurked here for a long time and I've always been disappointed by the lack of participation in this thread, so I figured it's time for me to contribute. Here's my M-15T in the prairie of South Dakota on a recent prairie dog shoot. You can see my AR-10T in one of the pictures too. They're both set up pretty much the same. Both have Nikon Monarch mildot scopes and M-223 mounts, Tubb Precision target grips (very nice for target/prairie dog shooting), RRA winter trigger guards, and Badger Ordnance Gen II tactical latches. The Caldwell brass catcher shown attached to the M-15 worked reasonably well, even on the AR-10. It was a fun trip.

After looking at way too many I hooked up with this M15A4CBA2K (plain Jane flat top with A2 sight). Installed a Rock River full quad free float rail to get started. Added a DPMS palm grip & bipod. Jard adjustable trigger & KNS Precision non rotating trigger pins, Nikon ProStaff 3-9x50 BDC (locking turrets & 1/4 minute clicks) in Burris XTR rings. Lapped in the rings for a nice fit. A Vortex Strike Fire red/green dot is on the way & it goes into a 45° offset mount. Still need a light, laser, foregrip, and some way to mount a BUIS.

Then maybe get the M-15T carbine upper and the AR-10T carbine upper, because I can't be without a 223 and a 308. Uh-oh - just checked the ArmaLite website and the M-15T carbine upper seems to be missing (part number U15A4TCB). Perhaps my perfect plan won't work... |
