Yes, they are getting easier to come by, and may be the best grip on the planet. So, show them off here.

Can you show me the smooth vs the rough texture, and maybe a pic of an OD one. I have large hands, and have not found "my" grip yet. I've tried the MIAD, GI, and the Houge. The Houge was decent (on the wife's rifle now), but it still left me wanting more. Hoping this new A-PEG is the one. Blessings, -Will

| Agree wholeheartedly with the "When you send me the PredatAR I ordered I will gladly post pics" statement! My Larue 7.62 has been on backorder since 12/10/11... What might make it worse is that I had the dealer I had to use (California) change the order from a PredatAR to a PredatOBR in early April... I called Larue first to see if it was going to move me to the back of the list so I would have to wait another 6-8 months if I did this and I was assured that it would not.. Just hope my dealer understood and did it the way I asked instead of cancelling my original order and ordering the PredatOBR as a new order..... |

Personally, I had to switch to a Tapco SAW grip in order to find a grip that fits my hands. So far no issues with the grips, even when shooting my Troy Industries SASS Chassis equipped M-1A.... That said, we won't talk about their (Tapco) sloppy carbine stocks.... Haven't tried any of the LaRue grips yet. I do love their other stuff though! I have purchased some optics and several mounts from them. Love that 'Dillo!!!! |

| One of the things I hate about the standard A2 grip is on long patrols the corner portion of it that protudes out by the trigger guard always digs into the meat of my middle finger between my palm and first knuckle causing exreme irritation after a long time almost like a pressure sore. I notice the larue has a protuding sharp corner in the same spot, anyone have any trouble with that area when carrying a m16 weaight rifle for long periods of time? |

I've been looking at this for a few days now. With this thread I guess I have to get off my butt and order one. :-) Can someone post a closeup comparison of the normal and rough finish? Is there any comparison that can be made, like the rough is similar to 10LPI checkering and the normal is like 20 LPI?

My initial impression is that it is comfortable and not as thick as I thought it would be, but I haven't run it on a complete gun yet. It will be going on the stripped lower pictured when I finish it up this weekend. I'm not sure how the angle would be running a fully collapsed stock, but this build is more of a precision build, so it should feel great. |
