So I bought one of these and I think it's way too much money for what it is. I came across a thread on reddit explaining what was being shipped after I had already placed an order. It's basically a modified disconnector and a 3d printed spacer, which I'm not even sure what it does. I might not have ordered it had I known that but $143 later here we are. I guess they're owed for coming up with it I guess. I put it in last night and for the most part you have to basically have to strip the FCU to remove the factory disconnector. Reassemble without the disconnector, with the new spacer and drop the new disconnector in the FCU. It just falls in the slot where the factory one goes. The new disconnector has an added shelf that, as the slide moves back, pushes the shelf down resetting the trigger. I took it out this morning and initially had varying success until I figured out the right pressure to put on the trigger. If you put too much pressure it stove pipes. Works great if you have the right touch not so much if you have a death grip. I am a little concerned that the modified disconnector is wearing very quickly. Now it might wear to a certain point and stop. Texas triggers says it needs to be broken in with X amount of rounds and mine is a brand new gun and I don't know if this wear is included in that. Other people on Reddit noted this same thing and suggested it might be the hole where the optic screw goes from underneath and that an older non optic cut slide could help.

| That's quite a bit of wear, but it's probably because the disconnector is built long to allow for fitting. I would probably remove those burrs and polish it to see if wear continues or if it's broken in to your gun now. Glock FRTs do similar things due to the varying tolerances. Hopefully it's the latter. |
