Hey folks, I'm finally getting into the TX22 game. I have a Freedom Finger on the way, and one from Deez Nutz. Post your success stories here, your ammo recommendations, what magazines work and what don't, your chassis braces/stocks, post em all up. Something I'm considering is the Recover Tactical brace, which seems to just clip onto the light rail. I use a 3D printed nylon version of the part, the OG one that was first released. I just run it with Federal bulk boxes, the copper plated stuff. Ran 100% for me right from the get go. Just finished putting together a chassis for it, plan to try it out this weekend.

I had to trim the back as the beavertail of the tx22 is longer but it was a couple minutes with the dremel and it works great. You may need to trim a little of the brace by the ejection port as well. It's nice and compact and makes the gun a lot more controllable. Mine has an FFT in it, it ran from the get go. Works the best with mini mags and auto match does well too. I have the tandem kross comp on it which definitely helps control it. I also run a .22 can (AAC element 2) which runs well. I added a weighted backplate which helps a lot when running a suppressor. I run the factory 16 and 22 round mags, no issues. |

Gen 2 non-optic TX22 with Freedom Fingers FRT. Farrow Tech slide weight in a MTN 2 chassis. Run it suppressed only with a Sig 22X can. The only issue I've run into is the length of the slide weight prevents the gun from locking open on an empty mag. I could probably do some trimming on the chassis and might do that when I pull it apart to clean the gun at some point. Runs fine on CCI SV ammo, but I normally feed it bunch of cheap Remington Golden Bullet stuff. It stays subsonic out of the 4" barrel, and other than the occasional dud round the gun loves it. I've also run it with CCI AR Tactical .22. Not really ammo sensitive at all. Stupid fun. I call it the squirt gun. Attached File |

Put about 400rds through mine this past weekend, so about hitting the 800-1000rd. mark total with the printed FRT. The printed part is starting to deform/mushroom out on the surface that hits the slide. It still functions properly, but you can tell it's wearing down and will probably reach a point soon where it could stop working. Overall, not bad for a $0.01 printed part, and I have about 24 more of them in a baggie I can swap it out with and be back to new. Also good news is that it doesn't appear to be causing any excessive wear on the OEM striker housing in the slide. |

I spoke withe the guy at Titan and there is a model made specifically for those whom purchased a longer back weight. It's on the website and more specifically cited as made for the longer Moonlight or Farrowtech weight. He also said if I needed it to be different, longer or shorter just give him a call, very nice guy. I was using a RMR red dot with an RMSc to RMR red dot adapter plate. The bottom of the plate is hollow and I put the tungsten weights in there for a total of 2.3 oz.-- .25oz more, or less and it didn't run-- this is with a Hux Flow 22. The weights acted as a dead blow weight because there is extra room in the hollow bottom. The frt is printed, I forget which one but can let you know if you want. |

Mostly successful so far, I'm going to do a dedicated range session of several hundred rounds to ensure it gets fully broken in. I cannot believe the rate of fire on this bastard. I took a video of a 10 round burst, and it literally just looks like a single centerfire round's recoil impulse in the iPotato camera. |

Also wondering what all rate reducers / liner systems have proven to work well with Suppressed FRT and cheap Bulk pack HV. Link to some of the ones I have seen. The FRT disconnector from 1441 recoil systems are fine but the metal channel liners from them suck. A friend of mine bought a couple of them and one of them doesn’t allow the striker to fire. The geometry is out of whack. The other one doesn’t work in FRT. fires once and dead trigger. I suspect that one needs some polishing as surface is very rough. The one I purchased doesn’t even fit into the slide, it’s completely out of spec. YMMV |

| Has anyone seen a sliding/dead blow type weight for a TX22? I had read that some were using the included optic cover plate and not fully tightening it so that there would be a small sliding motion to it but that isn't much weight. I was considering trying this but with the plate off of one of my 1911s since that is MUCH heavier. I would think that would help a lot with bolt slide bounce, especially with the additional mass of a can on the end. |

The stock block on my tx22 compact was completely chewed up within 1k rounds. I bought the 1441 with metal liners and has been g2g for over 4k rounds so far. I didn’t have to “fit” it. Ymmv |
| I'm sitting at around 4000 rounds through mine. Freedom Fingers trigger, TORO version. I installed a cheap optic, and that's it. The rest is stock. I've never cleaned it either. I run Federal Champion 40 grain round nose. I am also running a Griffin Checkmate can, and it's great. It's not flawless, but my stoppages are 1 every couple hundred rounds. |
