Anyone know where I can find one of these? I saw them or Reddit gun deals a few weeks ago and can’t locate anything now. Any help is appreciated |

This is what I found. I’m unsure what material they are made of. I haven’t ordered one yet. |

The specialized AR-15 gooseneck mount machined by retro community builders for C-MORE optics is made out of 6061-T6 Aluminum. To match the durability of traditional military gear, the material is treated with a Type III Hard Anodizing finish to resist corrosion, scratches, and harsh weather.Additional material components on these mounts include:The Thumbscrew: Constructed from high-strength carbon steel to withstand the torque required to lock the bracket into the carry handle channel. The Alignment Pin/Hardware: Employs industry-standard 10/32 or 1/4-28 steel threads to prevent stripping during installation. If you are sourcing one of these mounts, are you trying to build a highly accurate military clone (like an early 2000s IDF "Meets" setup or US Army build), or are you just looking for a reliable way to mount a modern red dot onto a fixed carry handle upper? You can thank google. |

Thanks for sharing. I'll grab one. I already have a carry handle T1/T2 mount I picked up a while ago, but curious how the gooseneck variant will do. Going to try a Primary Arms 1x Prism on these mounts. However will have to wait a while as I'm deployed. Annoying the wife with packages piling up. |

if getting the genuine aimpoint us govt issue gooseneck mount its affordable and easy to put an extra slot in it for t1 / t2 mount to adjust back and forth. be aware you must make sure you get the late c clamp reinforced variant not the common gen 1 variant most have sitting around. the gen 1 doesnt stay tight left to right its a complete joke. they added a late c clamp update via a hole thru side and added parts assy but they didnt last long in service so are much less common. its seen in the old m16a2 colt promotional videos on youtube still. |
