What suppressors are people running on there LMT’s? Specifically the 12 inches?? I hate to assume the Suppressed setting on the gas black is for traditional cans, but that makes the most sense. Anyone running into issues with the new flow-through cans? Need to keep the gas block on non-suppressed or run as suppressed even if there’s not as much back pressure?? Thanks all! |
| No 12” barrel, but my LMT piston rifle operates just fine with Deadair Sandman S and K suppressors. The gas block has two FIRE and SUPP settings and the rifle is over gassed. I am almost positive I have a H2 buffer in it. |

So neither 12" or an LMT, but I have a 16" HK MR556A4 and 16" Sig 716 G2 in .308. Both have adjustable gas blocks and are piston operated. From my experiences running Hux cans and standard baffle cans, they both still run in the suppressed setting even with flow through and it makes it for softer recoil. Having the suppressed setting on with a standard baffle can is a must, IMO. Both make for a "better" shooting experience with Hux cans. And the sound profile is very similar, at least when comparing a Flow 762 Ti and OCL Polonium 30. |
| I have a 12” piston LMT. I have pretty much settled on my, get ready for it, B&T print XH RBS SC, hate their naming. I have an frt in it and the rate of fire with an H2 just makes it great to shoot. I’ve also used my Lazarus 6 and that was nice too, little quieter but heavier also and the rate of fire sped way up using it. I have also used an old M4 2000 on it. Still like their sound. |
