Attached File Just received two (at $110, why not?). Have yet to assemble or shoot. This is a parkerized 20” A2 HBAR with observable chrome lining from chamber to muzzle, M4 feed ramps, threaded muzzle, and pinned, F-marked front sight. Bayonet lug, barrel nut and triangle handguard cap included; front sight post, spring, detent, sling swivel are not. Markings as per photo above are identical on both barrels, atop the barrel between the chamber and front sight tower, and given the symbol preceding the markings I think Ballistic Advantage made the barrels. Both came sealed in a plastic bag. Both barrels had a small amount of material in the bore consistent with drilling the gas port hole. I think this will push out with a cleaning rod. Appears to be an acceptable quality shooter grade barrel that otherwise would not meet milspec TDP or QC requirements… basically it’s a 1990s Bushmaster barrel. Will be a few months before I assemble and test against an A2 Colt barrel for shits and giggles… |
