It’s been a long time since I’ve bought a LPK. I used to buy DPMS or Stag. or use what came with a PSA build kit. Looking in my parts bin I’m out of milspec trigger groups with rounded hammers and safety selectors. All my take-offs are used notched hammers. Anyway, how is the quality of the current Spikes Tactical LPKs? |

| It's been a few years since I bought one, but they're my favorite LPKs. They come wrapped in compartments for assembly steps, have positive safeties, and a nicely textured mag release. Second favorite is White Oak Armament. Given the importance of the small parts, I spend some extra on LPKs. Spikes is a definite step up from PSA. |

Got a Spikes $68 and an Expo Arms $58. Spikes has a real roll pin for the bolt catch. Both use Schmid parts. Spikes has an upgraded mag release and includes a grip and grip screw. EXPO Arms has a slit pin for the bolt catch, more basic packaging and no grip or grip screw. |
