Trying to post pics, not that easy for us old farts. Now if I can only remember how I did this.
SAPI = Solid Armor Piercing Incendiary. The solid incendiary reacts with kinetic energy at high speeds. These all have a tungsten carbide core with a titanium tip. (takes 950fps for titanium to react and burns at 3000 degrees when ignite). Sorry no cutaways (yet) or extras. Top is MEN .308w SAPI, than .338LM LAPUA with a solid copper jacket (I have know info on), and the .338LM Thun Swiss P SAPI. The first and last have solid brass jackets. wolfganggross

Lapua used to have a selection of AP, API, and others in .338. Could not find any of them on their website. Perhaps there is a separate Military website....
