I wish I could afford to be. I had 4 cases of xm193 a few years ago but its all gone now.. well almost all gone as you can see. 200 wolf military classic 7.62x39 400 F4 7.62x51 still sealed from the early 80s  1 xm193 (always leave the range with one.. just in case  )1 federal ae223 (same) I want so badly to stock up on a shit ton of 223 but I'm building my last ar15 before 08 right now so no ammo till funds appear again later

Well it's been a while since any pics have been posted so here goes, if a red x shows up right click and select show picture, not sure why I have this problem some of the time. Anyway, this was a pain to move all of this out to get a few pics and it's most of my Guat, There are a couple of cases burried that I wasn't going to even try to get at.

Wow! Barring some freak occurrence that makes me filthy rich, I do not see myself ever owning that much 5.56/.223, let alone non-reloaded, brass case, 5.56 spec. If I had that much in Wolf steel-cased for training ammo I would be very happy. Nice job taking advantage of the low prices when they existed.

Very impressive sir. Nice stocks on the last picture in the bottom right corner. I am more impressed by the quantity of ammo than the quantity of guns. What is the benefit of owning so many M1A’s and Garands? Just because you can? Once again, awesome collection, truly. Lean & mean is really becoming an attraction for me in life, and I am considering selling a couple rifles and not replacing them. Just wondering what drives people to accumulate and maintain such a large collection. |

As far is ammo is concerned, not really. I bought a bit of ammo this year so I would be able to reach proficiency levels I desire. I do not expect my ammo stores to stay at current levels. Having 10 AR15's is not necessary to achieve that. Mags, you got me there. It really does not matter. I generally care little what others do if it does not directly affect me. I was just curious. |

I suspect that ammo is shit. It weights in very light. Ask me how I know. Compare it to ANY other 223, Guat, 193, radway green. Take your pick. The Barnaul doesn't measure up. Maybe they use some secret super duper chemistry that says you don't need to use as much powder. Buy it once, shoot it, change your sights, then get some real ammo and recalibrate your sights back again. Your Mileage may vary. |

This is a tag more than anything else. This thread makes me feel inadequate, yet I can't look away. Doesn't count for much compared to many of you guys.  I need to update this anyway. I have labeled all the cans since the picture was taken.  The stash hasn't grown much anyway though.  I have a little bit of 5.45 in my near future though .ETA: This was a staged pic. I don't store the ammo there normally. I keep it in at least five different places so I would have to post too many pics if I showed you were I all normally kept it. It was my attempt at an ammo fort/wall.

Big scope? I have two or three pictured IIRC, one Leupold Mark IV 4.5X14 and one Nikon Tactical 2.5X10X44. I also have one of the big NC Star scopes that was on an AR for a bit. No contest. |

Nice. I think you will be happy w/ your purchase. It was quite a bit of money, but there are no better deals out there. Today I just ran a little of their 556-17T (75 gr. HPBT Tactical) through my M4gery w/ an Aimpoint M3 (4moa dot). When I got it dialed it I could do 2” groups at 50m. This is supposed to replicate the 75gr 5.56 TAP load, except w/ the T1 projectile. I am very happy so far, but want to run more through my M4gery when I can do it on private land or a less restrictive range. Let us know how this .308 stuff shoots.
