ETA for resolution: I removed the selector to troubleshoot and found that the detent wouldn't poke through very much. The selector detent hole either had some drill flash or didn't go all the way through on this lower. I ran a 1/8" bit all the way through and it punched out a little sliver of aluminum. I finally got around to installing the ARC Fire v1's I got a few weeks ago. The packages were identical, but one had the original selectors and one the mil. I checked the critical measurement on both and they came in at .678 like they are supposed to. The one with original style selectors is really wobbly. There seems to be a lot of play in the selector lever in each position. Both function check fine. Do I have a detent problem or is this something else? |

Mine didn't and after having a lot of problems as designs sent me another selector lever, the little insert piece and a shim. Helped some. |

Maybe check the detent spring protrusion from the grip to ensure there is enough force on the detent. A different grip with a shallower hole would be an easy fix. I had a V1 that moved enough to cause intermittent stuttering problems. A shim was the fix. |
