Bought a couple of these off EBay. Supposedly .mil surplus. Looking at the label, most military packaging that I've seen has a contract or purchase order number, and a packaging date/packaging method indicated on the label. Sling seems to be decent quality so I'm not knocking that, but could this just be a commercial or knockoff product?

They are likely the ability one subcontractor that actually produced the sling.

Legit.

I've seen those slings packaged with the Mexico marked Colt 6920's that hit the market some years back.
