I know Sig Romeo’s, the 4 version especially the T versions are their high end. I just Got an offer from the cop shop that had some never issued Sig Romeo 4H’s in low mounts for shotguns and they are circle reticle with a dot inside. I found Out that Sig, Aimpoint, and Primary Arms red dots work best for my Astigmatism and the Holosun AEMS’s I have make it a lot worse. This is so much so that I have not taken the AEMS’s to the range. I just Know the big difference from the 4T to the 4H/4S was 4T 7075 and the 4H/4S 6061/3. So does anyone know if the 4H is still bettering than the Romeo5 gen2 models? Thanks. |

Here is a neat comparison. https://www.vyceoutdoor.com/scopes-and-optics/romeo4-vs-romeo5 I would go with the 4H at that price unless you really want a green reticle. The Gen 2 does offer a green dot, but I think you need to step up beyond the base Romeo 5 to get the more enhanced reticles as well. Base Romeo 5 is still just a single dot. Romeo 5 (Gen 2) is offered in a single red dot, or single green dot. Romeo 5 Elite (Gen 2) offers the circle/dot combo in red only (similar to the 4H). 4H's come with the flip down lens cap covers as well as the enhanced reticle options. Keep in mind (if this matters to you), the body of the 4H and 4S are graphite in color. Only the 4T is black (or FDE). |

Nice! There is a 4H sitting on my desk right now. $125 is a nice deal. When they come new in box (4H and 4S), they come with both high and low mounts. The one single problem is that they do not come with a spacer plate. If they did, would use the QD high mount that it comes with. The 4T comes with a spacer plate (but the mount is not QD). SIG sells the plates for $10 each, and they are finally back in stock after being out for what seems like years years.  https://www.sigsauer.com/romeo4-h-s-t-0-22inch-spacer.html Oddly enough, the Gen 1 Romeo 5 XDR's came with a spacer plate.   Oh, you mentioned a circle/dot reticle. Is it a dot or a cross? The 4 H/S/T's came with two reticle options. Most of mine are the "plex" version instead of the dot version.  |
