I just got back from the range from using my new Tromix H3 Buffer. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about this working as well as my TRUE H3 buffers with three reciprocating tungsten weights. (I took my H3 with me, just in case I needed it...) However, I didn't need to swap my buffer back to the H3! The Tromix worked perfectly for me! Before I got it in hand, I was having a little trouble understanding how this buffer works. Makes sense now, and the reciprocating weight doesn't matter what it is made of - steel or tungsten, the dead-blow principle is the same. If you are hesitant to try a Tromix buffer like I was, don't be. It just works. I'm gonna have to get more of these! Edited to add - I only put 200 rounds downrange with this today. I'll shoot it more in the near future, and if I have any issues, I'll update here. |

| I ordered 2 of the Tromix H3 buffers when I ordered 2 Trigger Kickers. Installed it all in 2 5.56 SBRs and they work great. |

I wonder if his 308 buffer will work with a Q gun or Maxim with cqb stocks. I have to use the 7.65 oz Maxim 9mm buffer to get my shorty Q clone 556 guns to run. They rip with it. It’s the same length as Tony’s 762 buffer. @tonyrumore Your standard 308 buffer is on clearance but you say not to run it with frt. Has it been tried with the above stocks? I hate to drop 80 on that fancy Lima6 buffer if the 20 dollar clearance one will work. |

Our standard 2.5" AR-10 carbine buffer ($20) only has 2.7oz of sliding weight, which is not usually enough to stop bolt bounce. All testing with the 2.5" buffers was done in a Lima 6 and we found that it needed around ~3.9oz of sliding weight to run. The 2.5" Lima 6 buffer uses Tungsten weights inside of sliding steel body, for a total sliding weight of 4.8oz. And of course, since it uses Tungsten, it's expensive. Tony Rumore Tromix |

Success yesterday w/ Tromix H2 and H3 with standard carbine spring ARC V1 equipped lower with an overgassed 11" 5.56 upper and my old SDN6 on it. I did not try without the can but it ran like a top on Federal M855 and was indistinguishable from my regular H2 and H3 buffers. To the Tromix guy, these are great and I hope you make a fortune off of them during the FRT boom. |

I previously posted this in the Trigger Kicker thread - +2 on the Tromix H3 buffer for the Trigger Kicker, Super Safety and ARC FIRE V2. I ordered 2 Tromix buffers- all ran right out of the box perfectly with all the above FRT’s- Anderson & Spikes lowers, short bbls, 16”, 20”, suppressed and unsuppressed. ALL of them 😁 NO issues at all. Tony was excellent on communication and advice. 5 stars across the board. I also have other H3 buffers with sliding weights from PWS, and 2 other mfgs- all ran well. The only one I have that hasn’t worked yet is Odin Works heavy FRT buffer. Hasn’t worked on any of my FRT’s yet. No idea why. Dead trigger and light strikes abound. Fooling around with springs now, haven’t found the right recipe yet. LMK if anyone has advice/insight. For $39 each, I’m going to stick with Tromix buffers for now and advising my friends to do the same as they get started. Tony- you’re the man! |
