What's the current consensus on good 20 Rd 308 mags and who has them? I have a mixture of like 4 different brands mostly metal, also Pmags. Been a while since I went looking for more, some the ones I like I can't seem to find. |

I have a couple Pmags, and they do work - they have that going for them but they don't drop free via gravity from either of my SR25 ARs. The metal ones I have do. Not that its a bad thing but its a preference. I bought a couple of the aluminum 20 rders that Brownells was selling a long while back and I wish I would have bought more. Same with DPMS mags that you could get for like $16 when they were closing out. I do have one D&H 10 rounder that works well - I'll see if I can find some 20 rders. Thanks |

| I have and use both 20 and 25 round pmag LR. They work fine and drop free from my LMT rifles. PMAG is restricted to 2.80” COAL in standard and 2.83” in the LR version.I much prefer using the Duramag 20 round magazines. They are SS and allow for up to 2.87” COAL. They are solidly constructed with a durable finish. I use them almost exclusively because I shoot heavy long for caliber bullets. They do not drop free from my LMT rifles. |
| FWIW, my 716i works with PMags, but the single ASC I got with it wasn't reliable. (I don't recall the mode of failure) |

| I have KAC and Larue for metal mags, and neither of them have ever been used, I really like the PMags and Lancers. The Lancers are my favorite. Very well made magazine. Also 90% of my mags are 10 round capacity |

| DPMS & D&H are the only ones that work reliably in my Colt 901. One Lancer that's been pretty good too. |
