Not really; its just a different Form (4 instead of 1). It has to come from an in-state FFL as well. |

Thanks for the answers. I am just learning the NFA world of SBRs. I'm dying to build one but as a resident of AL (student in SC) I'm currently out of luck. I think I'll just start with a pistol build and go the SBR route should I end up in a SBR friendly state post grad. |

Mainly to keep carbon off the bezel / lens. I don't notice any shadowing at ranges more than five or so feet (the further from a target, wall, etc the less you see) - it might make a difference if I ever get a suppressor for the thing, but for now it works for me where it is. Hope this helps - let me know if you have any other questions. Clint |

It's a Surefire M600C with Wilcox Industries tailcap and Integrated Vertical Grip. The grip has buttons on either side for controlling different devices, and has a mini-bipod that works OK, but it mainly just makes the grip too long as Shung pointed out. I like the functionality, but would gladly give up the bipod feature if it meant the grip could be about two inches shorter. I have another similar set-up I use with one of Surefire's new 952V lights and a PAQ-4C. It rocks! More info on the grip, etc here:Wilcox Grips Take care, Clint |

Come on Clint - get a can
I would have thought you would have spun up a better grip with all the tools at your disposal. |

For those in the know: how well does the KAC can work with the Mk 18? I'm assuming it's not "Hollywood quiet", especially from a SBR, but is it at least hearing safe?
