Ran a search and really couldn't find much. How do the SAI LPVOs compare to something like a Credo HX? I see Euro Optic has the SAI 1-6 for about $100 less than the Credo HX plus it comes with Tenebraex covers and a kill flash which is over $100 worth of extra stuff. I already have a Credo HX so know what to expect there, I guess my one hang up on the SAI is just the center crosshair illuminates so it might not work as good as a RDS replacement as the Credo with the Hunter Hold reticle. |

I have one and it's a fantastic looking scope. I don't have a Credo to compare it to though. I sold my Nightforce NX8 to get the Sai Optics one and was happy with the decision. If you're planning on using the Sai for a red dot I would suggest this model and it's completely capable of it. https://www.eurooptic.com/sai-optics-sai-6-1-6x24mm-1-mrad-ffp-mil-rapid-aiming-feature-riflescope-rng16-b If you plan on getting a throw lever for it, I'd look for a different one than the overprice SAI brand one. It's way too bulky and oversized for what's needed. The extras that come with the scope are great too. They're supposed to be coming out with a 1-10 this year and I believe that's why the 1-6 model is cheaper now. This guy is a good dude that IMO isn't a typical youtuber shill.  The SAI6 Canada wasn't sleeping. / 1.5 years running one optic. |

I like everything about the optic but the poor illumination in bright conditions. The Credo HX is just about as bright as an Aimpoint and this one looks to be nowhere near that. I would have an RMR piggybacked with this but it's still nice to be able to use the scope as a RDS if need be. |

Had one years ago, it’s a great scope optically, and I’m personally a fan of the reticle, but it falls flat by not having daylight bright illum. I don’t know if I’ll ever understand FFP for a 1-6x, especially when the illumination is daylight visible at best. At least my example was. If you’re looking for a GREAT LPVO, the EBR-7F Razor is excellent, $1200 from Europtic and includes caps and mount. Nuke bright illum and razor quality image. |

 Just got one zerod. Was testing it with no illumination at 1x vs Aimpoint PRO no magnifier at 50y with ready drills. Carbine to carbine gas but the SAI rifle has an A5H3 buffer system vs just an H2 on the other. It was negligible on results. Maybe about .1 to .15 faster on target with a dot. Splits on same target at 150y were about the same between the SAI 6x as the PRO magnified by a PA 3x. It will do for me. |

The SAI 1-6 is lightyears better than anything credo 1-6 or Delta Stryker type, optically. The image is flat, and extremely easy to get behind. The reticle is awesome. Honestly you don't even need illumination with this scope, especially with the black mil version (the X in the reticle is bigger\thicker and easier to pick up on 1X.) I really like the center crosshair v.s. a bit fat blob that turns red, more precise. Did I say these are optically great? To compare I have a Schmidt dual CC (best glass), a few Kahles (really good glass and fov) and a few SAI (not quite as sharp resolution, but great reticle, flat image, good eyebox, no barrel distortion at edges, and very relaxing to look through). I have a Delta Stryker 1-6 which is about identical to a Credo sitting on a shelf, the edge barrel distortion and eyebox on that scope are pretty bad in comparison and I don't use it anymore. That Stryker has a nuclear bright red dot, but who cares if they're crappy to look through. If you're looking at 1-6 LPVOs either the Kahles or SAI are my two favorites, the SAI has the better reticle and FFP for precision, and Kahles better glass\fov\1x experience. I almost never turn the illumination on with either. |
