I just snagged an SAI 1-6 FFP with mil reticle from Euro Optic. I bought this to use on a backup rifle. I have a couple nx8 1-8, ATACR 1-8, and Kahles k16i in the LPVO category. So far I’m very impressed with this optic. It’s made in Japan. The glass is great. 1x is nice and flat without edge distortion. 6x has a nice eyebox and doesn’t feel at all tight. The reticle is a crosshair with mil hashes and a mil hash Christmas tree reticle. It has a euro diopter. It comes with Tenebrax flip caps and a Tenebrax Killflash. My only gripe is that I wish it had a circle around the crosshairs to make it a little faster on 1x. The illumination could also be brighter. At $800 I feel it was an excellent purchase and am very pleased. If it had a fc-dmx reticle and slightly better illumination, it would be near perfect. If you’re looking for a very reasonably priced 1-6 that’s actually a quality optic, I think this fits the bill very nicely.  |

So far, most 1-10 options on the market are pretty disappointing from every company even the high tiers like Trijicon. It's tough to do a 10x multiplier scope to the satisfaction of the "do it all" nature of LPVOs. Only recently has that $4000 vortex made headways into a 'proper' 1-10. |

| I had the tan version with the "RAF" bdc reticle. I sold it but I am planning on getting another one as soon as I move some gear down the road. They are really nice scopes IF you don't need an ultra fast 1x. The glass, eyebox, weight and reticle ( in higher mag) are all really great features IMO. |
