Excellent work as always. The "bubble" tip or air pocket that the Russian designed into these rounds is clearly visable in your cut away.

I would of thought the hollow point would have had a solid jacket base.

I'm guessing it's not an OTM like US match rounds, more like they just snipped off the tip so they could sell the round 'for hunting purposes'.
