I switch out to a dedicated "Glock" lower from a .223 lower with a mag adapter and a went to a Glock mag bolt. So I have the replaced parts in a cardboard box. I have been tempted to take a file to ramp the "Colt" pattern bolt. I am courious what a ramp cut would cost. |

Check out the blowback9 bolt info page, depending on where you bought the bolt, it might not need it as most bolts are already ramped these days. https://blowback9.wordpress.com/2023/11/09/9mm-bolts/ Also down near the bottom of the page is a section detailing various ramp dimensions found on different bolts. With sales during the holiday, it may be cheaper and easier to find a new bolt thats already ramped vs. paying a machine shop to modify one, especially since most these days are nitrided and that always seems to get a premium charge for any machine work since its a much harder surface to machine. |

In that case it does make sense for sure. I had M60Joe ramp one for me 20yrs ago and it ran well and fixed some issues I was having. Wonder if Macon would notch some Uzi mags like Joe used to do, thats another of his services I miss and still have a pile of mags needing the slot cut. |
