| Who makes the best quality 1-7 twist 8” 300 AAC Blk barrel? I have a ballistic advantage on there now and I’m looking for an upgrade. I typically use FN or DD barrels for my 5.56 builds, but I’m coming up empty for the caliber and length. Geissele makes a CHF Crome lined barrel, but it uses a propriety pistol gas system and that’s a deal breaker. Any suggestions? I could move to a 8.5 barrel but it’s perfect at 8” and I’d rather not change that |

I have an 8.2" Roscoe purebreed and have been very happy with it. Granted its not chrome lined, and slightly longer than exactly 8". I did ream the gas port to .100 to give it a little more gas for subs and added an adjustable gas block. |
