Anyone ever try this? Just shooting paper at 100 yards thru a 1:8 16" barrel. Been getting great results with Federal Gold Medal 223 Ammo 69 Grain Sierra MatchKing. I just bought the last 3 boxes in stock from the place I've been buying it. Looking for something to get me thru till they get it back in stock. Prvi Partizan Ammo |

It shoots..no issues As a reloader, I'm not super fond of it. Primer pockets on PPU brass can be out of spec in some calibers and it makes reloading a pain.. if you don't reload, this is irrelevant. But if you're going to gather up that brass for future reloads, I'd pass. |
| Someone a few years ago did a test of this round along with PPU’s 75gr. load on this site. Maybe do a search to see if it’s still there. As I recall, both loads were about 1 - 1 1/2 groups but some occasional flyers that would open groups by another 1/2 inch or more. |

5.56, .30 Carbine, 7.5 French, .308, 8mm- it's all been fantastic for me. 5.56 55 gr. is reliable, and accuracy is average. 69 and 75 gr. match has always been sub-MOA in all of my ARs and XCRs. .308 155 HPBT got 1.25 MOA in my M-14. |

If you’re wanting precision; Hard pass. Not an AR, but this rifle has been pretty good at finding ammo that also shoots well in my AR’s.  223 Precision Ammo shootout…does higher price equal better performance? I’ve tested quite a few 223/5.56 loads over the last few weeks, and the PPU match line 69gr was one of the worst tested. I think the only thing that grouped worse was the Frontier FR262, and that was due to a single round that opened up the group to almost 2moa. Shop around, I’ve tested at least 10 other types of ammo that are far better. |

Put it together to see how good a budget rifle could shoot. I was really hoping 55gr would work with it, but the groups open up at 100 yards. It was really bad with a 2,000 round wood case of Magtech I have. I might try some 55gr American Eagle and see how that groups. Range won't allow any of the 62gr metal core I have. Like I said I put it together to see how a low $$ rifle and scope would shoot cheap ammo. |

I didn't know they made hollow point match ammo. but I haven't shot that much match ammo. I've been shooting federal m 193 that I bought five thousand rounds of back and the mid two thousands. I only got about five hundred rounds left.An ammo sure has gotten expensive.

My experience mirrors what you describe. |

I haven’t found a lot that was quite as good as the old Australian Outback before it was rebranded to ADI, but it’s shot good in numerous AR’s and bolt guns. Some lots have averaged in the 0.4x MOA range for me across 5 groups of 5 shots. |

The white box Prvi in 308 shoots better in my Armalite SASS 308 than Federal GMM. My home range is 150 yards, yea I know not that long. But it gives me little dime sized groups. MOA or a little worse with the Federal. They make very accurate ammo in my limited experience. |

Best I can muster from 168 Prvi in that same rifle is 1.0-1.2 MOA or so. Definite difference for me. I think it’s the blue box Rifleline stuff. Never tried their Gold Match stuff. |

All of the prvi I've bought has been excellent. Mostly 556 but I do have some cheap hollow points in pistol calibers. They were a few cents/rd more than FMJ so I just bought them. If for no other reason, just to make sure whatever guns I'm using feed HPs reliably Edit- OP, what make barrel do you have in 1/8? IMO, 1/8 twist is best twist for 556 Edit 2- sucks SG doesn't sell to maine anymore
