It only took a decade of asking… But hey I’ll take it. 2 MOA illuminated dot and back to the standard T-1 footprint. https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-slx-1x-microprism-w-rdb-illuminated-t-dot-reticle-h1-t1-footprint Since I could never get a solid answer for the size of the chevron in comparison to an MOA dot, I’ve since fully transitioned back to Aimpoint and Sig 4T Pro red dots, but I’ll probably pick one of these up to try out… If nothing else it’ll give me an excuse to buy another rifle. |

We are happy to have a new RDB T-Dot reticle in our MicroPrism line. This goes to show that we are always listening to our customers and looking for ways to innovate and improve our products based on your feedback. Thank you for the support! |

There’s nothing inherently wrong with the 1x slx/glx prism sights… They will work as a RDS alternative, but the chevron reticle in the 1x is unusable as designed unless you have phenomenal eyesight (this doesn’t apply to the 3x and 5x). Even using the whole chevron as a dot you can still hit your targets out to most practical distances. However, no one, no matter who you asked or how many times, could tell you how large the chevron was in terms of a moa measurement. And since the chevron is an unusual shape for a consistent point of aim, it’s not ideal as a dot for accuracy. Again, it works, but it’s not ideal and a dot is far better for consistent point of aim accuracy… I also hate the cantilever mount for a 1x. |

I bitch about the 1x chevron and lament the long wait for a dot, but you guys do listen and adapt… It is appreciated and not unnoticed. |

So ... whats the point of the T? As in, what value does it add to the dot? |

Thank you for the support! @PrimaryArms Is it gonna be available with a green dot anytime? For those of us that have issues with red dots? |

I shoot with both eyes open and that knob still irritates me. |

I know I’m a little late to the party, but I wanted to add some additional context. The chevron does require careful diopter adjustment and good eyesight to get the most out of it. Many users also pair a magnifier with a 1x optic. When properly set up, a sharp chevron provides a more precise aiming point than the top of a circle. The Cyclops has been our most popular ACSS reticle and was the reticle that launched the Micro Prism. That said, we absolutely listen to feedback and want to offer alternatives. We’ve been working on a dot version for some time. The main challenge was achieving true red dot brightness with the smaller surface area of a dot. Solving that required developing an entirely new, patent-pending illumination system—now featured in the T-Dot. So now, you can choose what works best for you. |

If you want to go with another mount get absolute CW height, That will give you lower 1/3 with all new SLx 1X Prisms with micro dot pattern mount |

Sorry to be pedantic but makes it easier to find the right mount given the different “lower 1/3” and “absolute” heights out there |

Its great that you guys are offering new microprism optics but PLEASE update the macro prisms you guys carry. I loved the form factor and both the 3x and 5x were great but the FOV was super small compared to the micros. Please put some of the new glass and optical design into an updated full size prism sight! The ability to top mount dots natively is awesome and if you guys can increase FOV like on the micros but give a larger image that would be a legit acog killer! Liked my 3x micro but the image was just tiny for what it was. Even if you guys just made a 4x prism with the top pic section and a good fov I think you’d dominate the category as long as its an SLX <500 or GLX <650. The micros are good optics but they aren’t really that good of TA31 alternatives. |

If it were updated with glass that was useful at dusk and the new illuminator that would be awesome. I remember rob ski dressing those things in blocks of ice and hammering them out without issue lol. |
