| So I'm thinking of building up a 9mm glock mag AR with a Matador arms radial upper. Now, I know I could use a Stern magwell adapter with one of the multitude of lowers I have floating around, but for pretty much the same price, I could just buy a dedicated lower. Sooooo...what are some of the better choices? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but I don't want something that needs a ton of tinkering either. |

As far as lowers go.....you have a wide selection to choose from. What you need to do is find one that has a last round bolt hold open that works with the matador upper. For that, I would suggest CALLING them before emailing them to see what lowers they recommend to use. . |

I have an AERO EPC 9 Only couple gripes that was easily remedied. First was AERO not feed HP because mag sat too low. My previous COLT pattern ate HP from Uzi mags Rudy at Macon Armory set me into mag catch that hikes Glock mag up higher with no shake as prior Ejector poor fit to slot on bolt, friend Micro TIG material to top and side of ejector, then I casually file to fit-fill the slot to boot empties out nicely |

I've had three that I was the first to Form 1 SBR and it added about 2 weeks to what my typical approvals were. |

AERO with an upgrade mag catch, and New frontier if you can find. They pretty much run out of the box. If you can find an old QC-10 they are awesome. I have had good luck with Wolfpack. 80%, Angstadt, PSA PG-9/ Spikes can be altered with a mag catch as well as PX-9 PSA. I have done/tested all of the above. FM the loweres are decent but have seen lots of issues with uppers. I have nearly 40 different Glock lowers in my library....and I use them for test purpose pretty much exclusively. My personal 9mm's are all colt and I shoot them wirhout issue.......as they are 100% reliable with metalform mags. |

I have 2 9mm Spartan lowers from JoeBob Outfitters in Hays Ks. They actually look like others out there so I wonder of they had someone else make them with their logo. They do not have LRBO on the lower, but their description says of you pair it with the Spartan upper, it does have LRBO. I like mine, haven't had any problems. Note: they are currently out of stock on both upper and lower. I didn't see a date when they are expected to be back in. |
