MH serial says it’s supposed to pre ban according to what I see online. Has the flash hider but it doesn’t have the bayonet lug. It also has the sear block in the lower. Thought it may be a late pre ban maybe but I aren’t the slab side lowers much older?

It's a preban according to bigger hammers list. https://www.biggerhammer.net/ar15/ar15serial.html My 6520 has a slab sided lower and shipped 11/1991. Colt started shaving bayonet lugs years before the 1994 ban. It is rare to see slabside lowers with Sear blocks, they mostly seem to have the big front pins. Does this one have both? Interesting Rifle for sure |

Recently I witnessed #MH047937 it is an (early pattern) A2 lower w/pinned block. No lug. My buddy owns MH011523 it’s a 601 type lower. It has no block but it has a 1/2 moon carrier. No lug. Last weekend I saw a 16” with an early A2 lower and stock, pinned block, no lug. I cant remember the serial other than MH. Only $999. |

From what I’m reading Colt was turning out random configurations before the was to go into effect |
