Thanks Windom .The sling is a standard issue m16 sling with a 2ft length of 550 cord looped thru one end of the buckle,this is an old army trick to turn the sling into a field expedient tactical sling.the sling is attached thru the rear stock slots on any car or m4 stocks and the front you can loop it thru the front sight tower.I  have mine thru a kac quick release swivel sight tower mount.

Here's my AR set up. Its my own rifle but I'm qualified with it thru my agency and have carried it on several operations and raids. It works well. I've packed the stock tubes with 2 "refills" worth of back up batteries for the optic and light. Surefire G2 with G&R Tactical's very reasonable "working man's weapon light" upgrade package (thanks Grant!) which includes a Z49 tailcap and a Z32 shock isolated bezel. Light is mounted in a Weaver 1" QuadLock ring on a YHM 1-slot offset mount, which fits perfectly in one of the Magpul XT rail cover spaces; mount comes off and space is quickly coverd by the missing XT panel.

What kind of an upper / barrel is that? 18" HBAR? Seems longer than a 16" due to the many ribs on your sidepanels. Looks awesome though! |
