I was browsing the internet seeing if anybody has found a way to make the Partisan Disruptor have a slightly less gritty pull, and I found this: Partisan Disruptor in-depth trigger pull-weight mod! The Keek Mod. I'm not smart enough to know the potential downsides of doing this modification and what side effects it has. Thoughts? |

I would exercise skepticism on any 9mm bolt as the OOB safety is already stretching to barely reach that trip surface. All that said, my brain isn't prepared to comment on the trigger pull benefits he is demonstrating without a partisan cassette trigger to inspect. Can't confirm or consider while sitting in my truck. |

I took mine apart and very lightly polished the flat side of the disconnector where it nests into the hammer with some 600 grit on a flat backing. Just knocked down the high spots really, and then removed any burrs around the edge and in the hole. I did not touch any of the sear or disconnector engagement surfaces. Didn't make a big difference but after 1000 rounds or so of wear in it does feel better than when it was new. I also installed the heavier hammer spring, which makes the pull a little heavier but actually feels like there's a kind of a wall there now, instead of just thickening mush before the shot breaks. |

I find that Disruptors break in really nicely. Most of the time, it doesn't take 1000 rounds, but after a few hundred, I really find that it has cleaned up quite a bit. |
