Saw a video about an mcx rattler with frt as a bear defense option. I have a stripped lower (ar15 and ar10); can I build something which is rattler-esque? |

I’m not a sig fan but the Rattler LT / 3rd gen is pretty awesome KAK and SLR both sell 4-8” 300blk barrels if you want to roll your own shorty SLR 5” w/ LWRC UICW stock/buffer - 20” without the can   For defensive use you’ll want to be running supers - 110gr tac-tx at minimum Also look at the new ammo in nas3 cases that can push 2k fps even out of these shorty uppers |

Go ahead and use Bear Defense as an excuse if you want; but Id have to wonder where youre travelling that you need anything with a FRT as Bear Defense. That being said I do applaud your wanting to build something. I have a few 300s and a couple short 308s. I have a 10" AR10 and a 12" HK G3K clone. If I was gonna pick between the bunch, the 308s would be my choice if I wanted to kill something up close that wanted to kill me |
