Shot 100 rounds of pmc .223 . I had 3 light primer strikes while shooting . The malfunctions happened while shooting short burst . The lower has a standard rifle buffer. The rifle was extremely hot by the 3rd mag . I'm not sure what would have caused the issues .

Pull your BCG apart and clean around your firing pin. Look at things under a magnifying glass

I have older eyeballs. The magnifier finds things.

Non-milspec hammer springs are the only thing that have caused intermittent light primer strikes for me.

Make sure things are wet. Not full return to battery might cause this too

I will give the rifle a good cleaning . Hammer springs are cheap so I will grab a few . The lower was assembled by PSA so I would assume it is milspec . Rifle has maybe 1100 round on it . I was using pmags .

My guess is a timing issue. I would grind the back of the kicker .010 to delay the timing slightly.

Update , swapped out the stock hammer with a schmid hammer . The rifle functioned perfectly .
