Thinking of a PSA JAKL in 556. Either a 14.5" or a 10.5" To those that have one are you happy? What issues have you experienced? What king of MOA are you getting? |

I have had one for over a year. It’s a fun upper. So far no problems. Not to happy with PSA changes to the JAKL 2 that would not let you use mil-spec lowers. PS about 3 MOA. But I shoot mostly 55gn ammo. And have bad eyes  Attached File |

I have an 8.5 300 that is sbr'd. I kind of want to change the stock away from the the scar wanna be but that means buying a new rear cap and then a new stock. I got a spear lt 11.5 5.56 upper and was very torn between 300 and 556 but did go 5.56 due to having the jakl. I really juts need to sell the jakl kit and buy the spear 300. Someone make me an offer on the stock and upper with about 250 rounds thru it. |

My only issue with the longer versions are that they are heavy. My 8 5" 300blk is lots of fun.

I bought an 8.5" 300 BLK upper last year to build into a bullpup. I figured with an adjustable gas plug, it would be perfect for suppressed and unsuppressed use. Boy, was I wrong. Even at the lowest setting this thing is GASSY AS F***. And I say that as someone who's been shooting suppressed for years. It's so bad that I can't even bring myself to shoot it suppressed anymore. It might work if it wasn't a bullpup, but as a bullpup it's absolutely useless suppressed. I regret the purchase of the upper and investment into the bullpup kit and would never recommend it. I may just toss the thing or sell it for whatever I can get and go with a different upper that won't choke me out. |

I have had a Jakl 10 inch barrel for several years now and still love it. That is my truck gun because of its size and reliability. It has never given me a problem and I must have a couple of thousand rounds through it by now. It has made me happy enough that I am always looking for a deal on another one. |

I have a 10.5” SBR with a suppressor. I occasionally wish I’d gotten the 13.7” upper but then I realize how handy a rifle it is with the suppressor attached. Fun to shoot and not as front heavy as the longer barreled guns. For any kind of suburban situation I’d be in it does the job well. |
