I have been beta testing one of these for about 5 months and this is without a doubt the best pistol light I have ever used. The spot beam is about as perfectly balanced as it gets, and from something the size of a TLR7. The flood isn't something I personally find overly useful, but if you mounted this on the top rail of a PCC I could see it being of benefit.  Olight PL X Official Launch |

Olight needs to step up their game in the reliability department of their weapon mounted lights. I've had too many handgun lights fail (esp the internal battery models) and have gone so far as to have brand new units sitting unused. I moved on to Holosuns which have IR capabilities and have been, thus far, bomb proof with a far better form factor. I did manage to snag one of their "turbo" LEP lights a while back. It has held up and is absolutely stupid bright at some pretty incredible distances. It's been the one exception that's held up but admittedly it gets little use. It's awesome for lighting up would-be criminals trying to break into the community mailbox half a mile down the road. With that said, I did purchase two of their new RDO's as an experiment and they seem to be sturdier than Holosun's RDO's. Irony I guess. The packaging is on par with Apple products although I'd take them in a cheap plastic bag if it lowered the cost even further. Still, when they ship with multiple screw sizes in a nifty little box that keeps them organized and separated with foam slots, that's immensely appreciated. Nothing I hate more than tracking down the right screws.
