The URX 4 is a nice rail but I wasn't a fan of fishing the gas block, gas tube into place. If you don't get a MLOK slot to line up you're then modifying the rail. On a .22 or 9mm blowback build they are excellent however. I'm interested in hearing more about the rifle. |

The PRI tube and Ops/AE can combo is sexy. I've considered doing a recce/mini-recce build with an old Armalite fiberglass tube and can slightly recessed under the tube. |

I agree about the identity of the Mod-H being tied to the PRI tube, just like the SPR and then Mod-0 were instantly recognizable for the same reason. I think that is what draws people to clone them as well. I don't think we'll see too many people swapping rails, even if the URX is cheaper, lighter and more ergonomic. |

I entered into a .223/5.56 competition where you have 10 stages shooting from 200–650 yards so the MK12 Mod 0 will be the ticket for me. My AME5 will be to me before the competition which is going to be rad! We decided to head out and train and practice before the match this morning.
Also, it's not bad when you have a friend who has a range from 300–1200 yards with steel setup in the mountains of Utah.

Well this is small news compared to all of that but I had to laugh. My ARMS 22 highs no humps lasted 21 minutes and 31 seconds on the EE. I wonder if that's some kind of a record. Probably not. Hope they get put on a super cool build. They're in really good shape. Or the owner can use them for paperweights. Pretty cool paperweights.

Why do I always miss the cool stuff? Edit: If anyone has 22Hs or 22Ms, I'm a buyer. I'll even trade you a set with lever stops and cash on top! They're the last pieces I need to finish my MK12s! >_< |

To me.....part of the appeal of the Mod 0 and Mod H are the distinctive, one of a kind, standout look. That's actually why I didn't build a Mod 1, looks too much like my SAM-R and most other "SPR" type rifles. URX rail on a Holland? Nope, not for me, but if someone likes it then go for it and post pics

6 months looking for those fucking rings and miss out every time. Guess I'll have to quit my job to snag a set
Good thing I'll be at our big gun show next weekend when it opens, always hoping I find a set there. On another note, about to start my mod 0 and Holland builds, hate that urx soooooo much, yet almost want to use it just for nostalgia hell, already breaking correctNess on it with a nf 2.5-10x40....

As excited as I am about getting these rings, I feel a bit guilty since there are other great guys here who need rings like these, too. I plan to keep these for a long time, but I am happy to keep an eye out for no hump rings for fellow cloners. |
