How did you even get in photobucket??? I was using it up til about 3 weeks ago and now all I get is spinning wheels.........
I'll just throw this out there, I have some no lever top #22 H's and I'm wracking my brain as to how much to put them up for. Those ones sold in 2 freaking hours....... For 250. The clone life. I really don't like doing things unfairly. But everything is only worth what the value is. Most metal stuff in the world carries a value that is quite a bit more than the actual value of the metal in weight. Except Gold and silver, so to speak. But shoot, we pay way more for cars and toasters than what it actually costs to produce them. Guns too. Because people make profit. I do find it a bit unsettling if it feels like gouging. But where do you draw that line? If a GI from WWII carried back his M-1 Carbine, and wasn't in combat. And babied his gun and then sold it in his old age for 2k, because that's about what a mint, unmolested WWII outfitted carbine might go for. Is he gouging because he didn't pay a dime for it? Or any thing that that goes up in value because of supply and demand? I don't know where the right answer is, but that's why it's called "Market Value". If someone bought rings in 2 hours at a certain price, who's to say they should be cheaper???? Maybe I SHOULD put them up for 3 bills.      
Any suggestions are welcomed. Yeah, I know, milspec will give me some nasty GI socks he had in Iraq. Because they're clone socks.

Supply and demand and all that. If you had an ounce of gold you bought for $400 years back would you sell it today for the same price? Please contact BMMC. He needs a set badly and is a great guy. As far as price I only sell things for what I have in them. Problem is I don't sell to many things.

On another note found some Nosler 77gr otm SSA ammo at cabelas for $15 a box. Anybody else see this? Shot about 1moa for me on a cold frigid day. Probably could of done better if I wasn't shaking so much and was wearing less layers

Actually it doesn't really matter, the reason desert camo works so well here is because the grass is dead 8 months out of the year: Winter it dies, then comes back to life for tornado season in the spring, then dies again in the blistering heat in late June. |

I'd agree with you on price gouging (if you can call it that), but if you ask for $300, and someone pays $300, it's worth $300. That just proves people have more dollars than sense, and are willing to spend it. (Guy that bought those probably just paid $100k+ for a soccer mom suburban btw.) Just saying things like rings selling for ridiculous money doesn't help anyone reach their end goal of completing a clone build. I have to put gas in my car to reach work. If it's cheaper at Shell than it is at Chevron, I buy Shell. I don't go to Chevron and bitch about their price. |

| What bipod are good to go for mod 0? Main page just says Harris or versapod. I know most here have the 6-9 notched swivel bipod with pod lock. HCS offers there builds with a 9-13 Harris, and looks like the cover on the manuals show 9-13 too. Were 6-9 notched none swivel used as well? I know they are issued to other DMRs like the mk14. Just looking for clarification. |

I've gotten emails from 5-6 people on the list and I've read the posts. I had to come to the shop today so I will respond to all those in just a bit. But if our wires are getting crossed do not worry. I will get in contact with you. If you have asked for a manual I will not give it to anyone before I hear from you under any circumstances.

Attached File Attached File The PEQ-2 rail as issued is different than the later PEQ-2 rails, but it looks acceptable. This early rifle I put together has a 2-3 rail with the gap filled in. I truly detest PRi's Gen II repro handguard, but if you're not interested in it looking exact, it'll do just fine. Originals are damned near unobtainium. There's a machinist on the FB clone group that is making early gen sight towers that you can use with a current base. Good luck and have fun building. |
