It's because the AR15 is the modern day Barbie doll for some guys.  Some clear their houses when their wives leave to go grocery shopping. Some put $3,000 worth of accessories on them but only shoot them twice a year. If some guy wants to take photos of their pristine AR's, that's his choice. Doesn't bother me any. |

And cleaning them up with CLP and then wipingthem down with a microfiber towell to rid the sheen. You guys don't know, but I spent about 15 minutes getting ring marks off a scope on a fellow shooter's rifle picture the other night. And no, he isn't selling it. And the bare aluminum showing on some of the rails, well it can be a pain to clean up. |

Thank you. She's brand spankin' new! Here's my worn, aged, and dirty AR to help keep the peace with the internet roughnecks out there. I apologize for the new furniture....I didn't have time to drag it across my driveway before the photo shoot.

I posted this earlier in the thread but I took some better pics today. I am very proud of this build. I have had it in different configurations but I think this is the final one, well it needs a scope but that will be later.

My last range trip has convinved me to leave the silencer in the safe until doomsday hits. Provided I have ear protection on hand, I'd just as soon have a rifle that doesn't need a proctologist to clean it after a typical shooting session!
