If I edited the post above it's more than likely because I suck at typing. If I didn't, I was either in too big of a hurry or just missed it.

A classic 20"er was missing from my collection for far too long, so I decided to remedy. Below is my "Clone-ish M16A2" that I built behind enemy lines (bayo lugs + barrel threads + A2 flash hiders = so evil we should give him the chair). The M4 ramps and OD furniture, while not clone correct, warm my heart. Very happy with how it turned out.
- Recent production (2007) Colt 6520 receiver with M4 feedramps ["C" / Cerro Forge (keyhole) marked]. - 2019 Colt M16A4 barrel - Same profile as an A2, but with M4 ramps ("C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7" marked). - Colt BCG ("C" marked carrier / "MPC" marked bolt) and Colt Charging Handle. - Armalite clamp on FSB and pin/weld PWS FSC556. - Armalite M15A2 furniture in OD green (perfect match to Magpul OD). - PSA M16A2 clone lower. - Standard cotton web sling (OD).

Is that one of the old Armalite AR-10A2s? The ones that took modified M14 mags? I had an AR-10A4 back during the bad old days, with the ear-destroying brake. It was the first rifle I ever bought, and a pretty good gun. |
