What other options are out there for non AR-15 5.56/.223 uppers that are compatible with a standard mil spec ar-15 lower? I'm not interested in the following: PSA Jakl Wolf T91 Sig MCX AR 5.7 |

If you're including piston uppers with a buffer tube in the "non AR-15" category, that lengthens the candidate list considerably. |

Faxon ARAK - do they still make it? Weird uppers I've heard of: Muzzleloading upper; Crossbow upper; .45 ACP side magwell upper - think one took Tommy mags, one took Greasegun mags. An ARFCOMer has one. Manual bolt action upper; .50 BMG uppers, both singe shot & a side magazine repeater; Think there was an air gun upper at one point, but maybe I'm misremembering; The Turkish .410 shotgun uppers, of course; Beltfed 9mm upper; Beltfed .22 LR upper.... |

 Although it fits on an AR15 lower, the upper is considered its own firearm by the ATF. So you can put a 50 BMG rifle (or 416 Barrett) on your AR15 rifle (lower).  Don't forget the Can Cannon. Also the 458 SOCOM upper uses the standard AR15 30 round double stack mags as a single stack 10 round mag. |
