The best COA for PSA and a "JAKL family" is to design a proprietary lower with enhanced ergos and a modular front end/ mag well like we have seen in the past from some manufacturers. JAKL does not use "any mil spec lower" but rather requires that part to be made proprietary with the thinned out catch and the buffer that sticks into the upper. PSA can transform that weakness into a strength (and not have a paper thin bolt catch) by going white sheet on the design. Additionally, having the modular front end ahead of the FCG helps fulfill a dream that many of us have had since 2007 (you know what I'm talking about!!!). THESE are the kinds of "Concepts" that are interesting to explore... and the ideas that get folks creating threads and checking daily, stressing over timelines and hoping that the initial release goes well. Fake Glocks, Krinks, 56-Spikers are not interesting at all... and most of us who want one of those already have at least one. |

How about retrofitting a Jakl pistol with a rifle-length barrel? Fun is fun, but I'd like to avoid the whole brace issue. I can't seem to get a response from PSA about the possibility of their offering this service. |
