| Need some advice. Got my hands on a factory 12.5 AAC MPW upper and can’t decide what route to go. Obviously the LVAW can is out of the picture but I have an sig srd762 I could use instead but can’t decide on a handguard. The MI handguard is an affordable option but I’m kinda torn because I want to keep it clone but I have the factory barrel still not the stainless that’s been seen with the MI handguard. What do y’all think I should do? |

Also I forgot to mention the upper I have did not come with the KAC URX 3.1 unfortunately the previous owner sold it which I don’t blame him as they are worth quite a bit. So I just have the upper with no handguard at the moment. |

The FF RAS + QDSS combo was the standard configuration for all dev recce rifles before they chopped the barrels down, so there's plenty of pics out there as long as you look for the right timeline. As kemp already mentioned, you won't find 15.1 examples because the 16" barrels were cut down to 15.1" specifically to mount the Ops can. Attached File |

Always wanted to build one. I have a C stamp keyhole upper but was thinking of using my Raised C Cardinal upper. I usually build clone correct everything but with the Lilia issues I prefer to use a different barrel. I found a CLE midlength but was also considering the new Craddock intermediate. Anybody have a preference on one vs the other on either? Thanks! |
Test fitting: I haven't been this excited about a build since starting out on my Johnny clone almost 13 years ago. PRI M84 is on the way. My goal is to have it functional this weekend. I ordered a mk12 brake and collar kit. This might be a stupid question, but for the NSW do I need to use the included washer and shims in the kit for timing or can I just use a crush washer? For the AEM4 I use a custom collar that Ron turned for the barrel, the brake, and a crush washer. I'm assuming I need to treat this one like a mk12 and use the included parts since the end of this barrel is machined to the same specs. Just making sure. It's not a huge deal right now as I don't have an AEM5 yet and haven't even started the process on one, but I might like to try it out unsuppressed while I wait. |

I just run an adjustable gas block under the rail to tame it for the match handloads I shoot. Lilja should be able to build just about anything you want. Carson Lilja was very helpful to me. Steiner DBAL-A2, Trijicon Accupoint 1-4x30, LaRue optic mount, Larue DBAL mount, VTAC Flip-up sights. A2 Flash hider shimmed, White Oak Armament Recce Profile Mid Length SS Barrel, SWR A2/RA "Renegade" Gas Block is taper pinned. Pretty fresh out at the time, the fore end was pretty new on the market, the F-93 was purchased because I had an M93 Magpul that was discontinued, then the Falcon came available. Just really what I wanted was all it ended up being this. |
