Mounting BiPod

How do I go about adding a bipod to this setup? Rather not change our hand guard & gas block but if I have to, I have to.
This is a S&W AR10 btw

Looks like you could either get an RPK style that clamps on the barrel, or add a rail to you handguard - assuming it has the vent holes to mount it. Either will work but not the best of options there.

Yup, definitely best to swap the handguard. A cheap Magpul would have an Mlok slot on the bottom that you could then put a pic rail on.

My ar10,

I cheaped out & used a sling swivel stud & nut, two flat washers & blue loctite.

Have to trim the thread shank a bit on the swivel stud.

Mounted through hole on handguard.

Been on for approx 1500rnds & hasn't loosened up yet.

Hmmm... I like the sounds of that. Quicker & cheaper for the time being. I would likely later add a quality handguard but don't want to spend the time & money on that currently. This would get me up & running quickly before the zombie apocalypse.
