Guess we'll see how this works out: https://www.gunsandammo.com/editorial/aero-precision-new-ownership/557825?_Rw1Fwmpq75Qa7uBw021bQwF5_3ZT3QGD4MM2gE_aem_qxSEl8Y_jSz3zXLI7igL0g#top |

It’s a smart buy. Assume a year or two to get the ball rolling again, then boom, election rush. Right now is the perfect time to buy. I just hope they understand a few things. -Tactical lever actions were mostly a phase that has passed. -No one is ever going to pay more than a Geissele for a Pro rail even if it’s good. -A quad Pro rail would sell good just because there’s so few options. -Ballistic Advantage has a reputation that needs addressed. -The BAR barrel nut is a niche now. -Focus on a monolithic that’s an updated less flash COP upper. |

15 years ago Aero was known for making lowers for other brands. Their font and their bullet safety markings were a giveaway. My first experience with them were with Surplus Ammo branded lowers. In the aftermath of the Sand Hook parts shortage they rose in popularity. With Anderson out of the picture I hope the new owners place them on the right path. |

Chances are the business is about marketing it to be sold to another company. So there’s a good chance they’ll ramp up production then sell it to make a small profit while the business is “hot.” |

Don't forget about the Trail of Beers Happy Hour!

Hopefully they can get back to making gun stuff better than they run a website - their dealer landing page shows an announcement and then a broken link when you click on the button for the press release....... Attached File Attached File |
When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It is difficult only for others.
It is the same when you are stupid.

| BIL worked for them...everyone left after they stopped paying for their health insurance without telling them. I don't think it's going to go well when all of your engineers were properly fucked and left with a terrible taste in their mouths...especially since they're all local and still live in the area. |

In reply to Moondog, and Aero producing other's products 15 years ago. screwed up quoting. I think your confusing the "A" (actually AH) forging marks on most Aero's for Aero's logo. When it's actually a forging mark for Anchor Harvey. Aero has primarily used Anchor Harvey for they're AR15 Forgings. Hence the same A (AH) logo that is on numerous other brands. Anchor Harvey Forging mark. Now some of they're barrel nut uppers and 308 stuff has they're actual "A" logo, more slanted. But the "A" looking logo your referring to for the past 15 years is Anchor Harvey's logo. |

If the new owners have any sense they won't be in that same local area anyway. |

The new ownership is incorporated in Wyoming, and the counsel / organizer that represented their deal is just across the border in Idaho Falls, ID, so perhaps that's a good sign. |

Saw some more info that may be useful: Video summarizing Aero's troubles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-JlE02ai2Q Maybe the new owners? https://haynes-florance.com/about-us |
| We hired a handful of guys from there over the last several years. Talked to one of them who's mom still works there. Asked him if there was any rumors as to who bought it. Employees don't even know. CEO sent an email out and signed it as the CEO with no name give. Odd. |

I wasn't talking about the Anchor Harvey forge mark. They produced lowers with other company's names and roll marks, such as PSA (early ones with bullet pictograms), Surplus Ammo and Arms and AR-57. Their etching/ engraving font of company names and location of origin are identical. |

At that time they were eager to meet customer wants, and they made great products. Reading how they had declined over the past few years, I got the feeling that their business office got tired of trying to keep up with the AR market, and left the firm in the hands of hardware geeks who didn’t know how to run the business end. |
