Anyone purchased an upper receiver from Matrix Arms? Looking for a non-FA upper and they have a nice option: https://www.matrixarms.com/product/matrix-arms-5-56-stripped-upper-receiver-no-forward-assist-bronze-hard-coat-anodize-new/  But I don't see any reviews and haven't heard of them personally. Wondering if I should just go with a BCM blem and deal with the FA. |
| I used their side charging uppers many years ago and it worked. Nothing out of spec out of the 2-3 I used. They are a small company but seemed to make well made stuff. But it has been probably 8 years since I bought anything from them so YMMV for anything now. |

| I have one of their 80% lowers I bought through a Brownells sale. I also built a 7.62 rifle with an upper and lower from them. As others have said, all very nicely machined and finished. It has been a while though (at least ten years) since I made these purchases. |
