M4A1 SOPMOD Block II clone picture thread (Page 920 of 925)

Does anyone know what rear sling plate this is?Attached File NM identified as Blackhawk/crosstac Attached File So changing my question to, anyone able to identify this safety? Screw location indicates it’s not KAC since it’s centered instead of offset, so I’m guessing it’s the old dpms one? Can’t tell for sure since it’s a little grainy, just guessing Thanks! |

Generally speaking, whose guns had a front sight post and who had a low pro gas block? I'd like to start working on a matching 14.5 upper for this gun. My preference would be a rifle with a low pro gas block and a Vortex Razor HD Gen II. Who would have been issued that configuration?  " />

Brandon Wombough from Trex Arms said he saw just a few of them in MARSOC but non FSP were the norm there as well as Ranger Regiment and NSW. |

AFAIK all of the “su” designated optics come with their own mounts, anything else would be unit or individual purchase. So basically anything goes. Just choose your optic, if it’s a general issue(as in big army or similar) or socom issue it will have its own designated mount; if not pick what you like. |

Block II prototype is finally functional, barrel came in a few hours ago. 10/07 date code so just outside of being clone correct, but considering the rail and charging handle aren't either it's acceptable to me (and it does fit in with the time frame for the rail, so it kinda counts). Still missing a Colt bcg and the accessories, but I can get used to the irons in the meantime. Incredibly well balanced, the handguard is incredibly light weight. Only weighs around half a pound. I'll get a proper clone lower probably after the first, don't feel like paying for a form 1 if they're gonna be free in five months. Next on the list is the bcg and then an SU-237. | scored a great deal on a salty RIS II FSP, that actually cleaned up better than expected, but the m203 hardware is toast; so was going to throw it on one of my otherwise stock 6920s. Not going for a clone here, but figured this would be the best place to ask, would there be any reason to reach out to DD for replacement here, or should I just toss the rail on there as is? Already got a new barrel nut and screws, and DD said they could send out a complete hardware set for the m203 hangers, just not sure if I should spring for it. |

| Morning guys, brand new to the site here and my more seasoned ar15.com vet of a friend sent me this forum because i'm in the process of building my first ever clone which is a block ll. More so remodeling a rifle i already own to be as clone correct as I can make it. (before you ask no i don't have a correct lower receiver because my shithole state CT sucks eggs and i can't get one.) But anyways any help on where i can dig to search for goodies for all the rest of the rifle would be greatly appreciated or just warn me and try to steer me away from a rabbit hole that i'll never get out of. |
