I am currently working on a clone build; M4A1 2006 Ramadi, Iraq (USMC, ANGLICO) and need help picking a "correct" flashlight. I am wondering if anyone who was around in Iraq at that time can weigh in on my options. (1) Surefire M962 Skinny body (2) Surefire M951 Fat body (3) Surefire 660 W/ later M951 style headlamp (4) Pelican M6 2320 Any critiques welcome, just looking for further insight or knowledge of what would be most commonly used by ANGLICO marines in Ramadi, Iraq during that time period. #1 was the program of record for the Marine Corps. The number that disappeared and ended up for sale on Lejeune/Pendleton Yard sales and eBay probably added up to the entire buy because most units did local purchases of SF Scout |

All of the Sure Fire options were in common use. I, personally, never saw a Pelican that I can recall. Maybe the an oddball Insight Technologies here or there, but mostly the M951 and M952 Sure Fires <- that was Army. When I was Marines, we had to tape Mag Lights the the hand guards
