I actually have a BCM QRF with a titanium barrel nut from V7. It weights a tenth of an oz more than plastic handguards with the titanium barrel nut. In my case I built around a colt HBAR barrel so I needed a nice looking tube for the build that also cut some weight. Ill post pictures when its more done. |

Just bought one of those FN surplus uppers to start my M16A4 clone build.
Anyone have any recommendations on correct/high quality A2 stocks? I've been scouring the web and it seems like Colt is OOS everywhere and everything else out there seems to come with plastic trapdoors and spacers. I see that Fulton Armory lists one with a metal trap door, but no idea who the supplier is. |
