In the video its stated SSK built it with no gas port . During the shooting session the bolt is clearly coming unlocked . In the comments "Jolly" states he sees a gas tube . Im sure its been drilled for a port post build by SSK . Im just curious about that bolt and 50ksi . The magazine situation is beyond sad . I just thought it makes a good submission to the variant section and a close look at what it needs to be viable. |

What about an AR15 7.62x39 magazine, the kind with the greater curvature? I was very interested to know that the 'straight-pull' action with all AR components actually works. I was contemplating this with a Bear Creek side-charging upper (in light of pending 'assault weapon' bans in my state) but was thinking that it might be too resistant to manual extraction. Glad to see that it can work. The side charging handle is much faster to work, you can exert much more force on it and you don't have to lose your cheek weld to cycle it. BTW, I have had the best function with 'Duramag', no luck with 'ASC' in the AR 7.62x39 mags. |

The problem would be getting a barrel chambered in 7.92x33. |

The gas port is probably there just undersized OR the gas block is not properly lined up port. |
