I developed a battery adaptor for the Aimpoint that allows the use of a CR123A battery instead of the standard DL1/3N. BattleKitUSA.com I'd like to develop a list of which mounts the adaptor works on and which ones it wont fit. If you have one of the following mounts, I'd like to send you an adaptor to test. TESTED Aimpoint/Wilcox Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by flfreefall) Aeroprecision Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by Criley) Larue Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by Criley) GG&G Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by xwarp) American Defense Mfg. Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by ssgballistics) ARMS Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by flcracker) BOBRO Engineering ]Tested, fits perfectly! (evaluated by KTM300XCW) Troy Tested, fits but optic must be canted nearly 30° or more left of center. (evaluated by GunnyG) Scalarworks LEAP/13 with Aimpoint ring. Tested, fits Scalarworks LEAP/02 Tested, unfortunately does not fit. Cr123 = 1,550 mah 1/3n = 170 mah Smart. With CR123 You get a 9x battery life and use a consistent cell with your surefire lights. For the AP pro, they rate the battery life on setting 7/10 at 30k hours and i believe it roughly cuts in half each step up. 7 = 30k hours (3.4 years) 8 = 15k hours (2 years) 9 = 7.5k hours (1 year) 10 = 3.7k hours (6 months) If you used the CR123 you'd 9x those hours. |

Doubt it would fit my 1.93” inverted mount… the LOWEST profile way to mount a Pro/M2/M3 with no battery housing or knob sticking out to block your field of view or snag or get banged/broken. What’s the diameter on that CR123 adapter? The batteries are changed through the front of the mount here… maybe your adapter is thin enough to still fit through the mount.
