Anyone have any experience with the Voodoo Evo Ultralite barrel? http://www.voodooinnovations.com/145-mid-length-750-evo-ultra-lite Manufacturer claims 1.16 lbs which is 18.56 ounces...that's pretty damn light. Also, the website says it's 16.5 inches in length and the top and then 14.5 inches everywhere...I haven't heard back from them yet but I think it's safe to assume it's a 14.5 incher. Seriously considering purchasing it but haven't seen much info floating around the interwebs.

A lot of factors play into these lightweight builds...the scales can be inaccurate and some pictures aren't how the guns are actually dressed out for use, but stripped up for weight reduction bragging rights on the picture...
That having been said, my bathroom scale weighs this in at 9lbs flat exactly as pictured (includes suppressor, sling, light, and loaded 30rd magazine).

Here is my lightweight AR-15 KISS build. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Light but not stupid light. Weighs in at about 5.75 lbs without ammo. Handles incredibly well.
