I really believe the nxs 2.5(x32) is the quintessential SPR optic. The way that sexy bell extends the fov at range vs the nxs 2.5(x24) really makes it the right choice in terms of NF going w. the x32 in the future. That said I actually came to the conclusion recently that I group better on paper with the x24 and to have the range of that much power in that compact of a housing is still perhaps unmatched and it is imho the ideal choice for my recce def. is going the precision recce/recon route. UBR is such a gamechanger on these 18" guns and I would bet a kidney the troops by in large would enjoy having UBR's instead of A2's and Sopmod's on the spec'd mk 12 guns. That again is the quintessential SPR buttstock imho. How do you like the single stage timney....is it a #3 or #4? Gotta any plans for that A2 F/H?....That sexy moma of yours is begging for a vortex or Blackout imho and that is the only thing I see that is not straight textbook SPR material. eta...wtf, all you gents have a million acres to blast precision ARs on....Maybe Barrack will give me some federal land to set up my mystical 1000m reactive target range dedicated for semi auto precision guns(Just drooled in describing that last lil bit, PARADISE ) Awesome Ranch you seem to have, hell any ranch is awesome in my book though.

Here is my planned Mk12 Mod 0 inspired SPR build… I figured I would post it here so the Mk12 spec Nazis don’t get too upset in the other thread.
•Lower - Eagle Arms (this is one I had in the safe). •Stock - Magpul ACS Stock –or– CTR •Grip - Magpul MIAD Grip •Trigger - Geissele SSA-E •Upper - Rainier Arms Upper •Barrel - Rainier Arms 18.5” UltraMatch SPR – or – WOA 18” Match SPR •Ops Inc 12th Model Muzzle Brake/Collar (may use BCM’s Brake/Collar depending what it looks like when it comes out) – or – Surefire MB556AR •Handguard - PRI Gen III Tube •BCG - LaRue Tactical LT-130 •Charging Handle - PRI Gasbuster •Rear Sight - PRI Rear BUIS •Front Sight - PRI Flip-up /gas block (set screws) •Optic Rail - PRI Rifle Length Top Rail (as opposed to the ARMS rail) •Optic Mount - LaRue Tactical LT-123 Rings •Optic – TBD •Bipod - LaRue Tactical LT-706 Harris BRM-S combo |

| Yeah, I got what he was saying... hence my emphasis that this is the plan... I have the upper and lower receivers, which ain't much worth pics by themselves... unfortunately this is not something I can go out and get all at once... I'll likely make a decision on the barrel tomorrow, as well as innards. Then it will be bits and pieces over the next few months to finish it off... |

It used to be an MK12 clone (minus the brake, collar and scope). I downgraded it to make it a little more useful to me. I see a Vltor A5 kit in its future. Its surprising how much it lightens up without the arms rail on it. Bad lighting and the flash washed out the last two pics a little.    |
