| Hey everyone, I just got a Larue MBT2S to put in my Colt Match Target lower and it went in no problems until I installed the safety. I had a radian ambi safety installed and on fire the hammer won't drop. Thinking it was the safety I put the safety that came in the gun back in and same thing. Trigger moves like it wants drop but it won't. I had a single stage CMC in it previously and it worked perfectly so I'm kind of stumped as to what's going on. Without the safety installed the trigger works as it should. |

https://www.radianweapons.com/en/accessories/talons/60426 This one correct? Are you running the safety in 90 degree mode? If so, have you tried a standard mil spec safety? Also, is your Colt an older model that uses large trigger pins and a semi auto bolt carrier? |

| Yea that’s the one. I tried it in the 45 throw and 90 and the standard safety that came in the gun. It is an older model as well. Early 90’s. I went back and took another look at it after I posted this and measure the pin holes. Trigger and hammer pin on the larue is .154. Pin holes on the lower are .170 😑. I ended up getting the safety to work correctly. Took some material off so the trigger could hinge all the way. |

You really need a Geissele large pin trigger meant for Colts: https://geissele.com/super-semi-automatic-ssar-trigger-large-pin.html https://geissele.com/super-semi-automatic-enhanced-ssa-e-trigger-large-pin.html I do not recommend filing down the safety nor using a trigger meant for 0.154” diameter trigger pin holes. As already stated, it appears that you have a Colt receiver that uses the oversized pins of .170", and you are using a standard sized pin trigger group that is .154". The smaller pin inside the large hammer/trigger pin holes of the receiver, won't work, as the hammer and trigger will wobble and cause issues of not firing or going full auto, and the trigger pin will also walk out which will cause things to lock up. So what you need to do is get an oversized pin .170 trigger group, these are available from Geissele, or Specialized Armament.
